Camel Trophy

Camel

The Camel Trophy was a legendary off-road vehicle competition that ran from 1980 to 2000. Renowned for its challenging terrain and adventurous spirit, it sent teams of drivers deep into some of the world’s most remote and unforgiving landscapes in specially prepared expedition vehicles. The competition was never just about speed — it celebrated teamwork, navigation, mechanical resourcefulness, and the will to keep going whatever the conditions. These rules aim to recreate that spirit in miniature: a fun, team-based crawling event that rewards preparation, cooperation, and the joy of driving a properly kitted-out scale machine. The ruleset is open to any scale, so whether you’re running a 1/24th micro crawler or a 1/10th trail rig, you’re welcome.
